Good selection of well kept real ales, served by a jovial host. Backroom is great library and has a good selection of man literature.

Really nice pub that also has a live music space and interesting artists playing there. Garden terrace had good views down the valley. Landlord friendly, beer is fine.
I attended the gig to celebrate 70 years of the NHS. It was a last-minute decision to go and I'm so glad I did. The staff were very helpful and the other visitors to the pub were friendly, chatty and welcoming. The sound lady had the PA perfect.
Awesome drinking pub with open fire. The staff are the best and are very chatty and friendly.The have a games room with a slot machine, gaming machine and pool table. The pool table is free on Saturdays.They also have a function room that hosts live music gigs and private functions. The function room can be hired at good rates.It also has an outside seating area for those sunny days which has a stunning view of the valley and the East Mill, truly is a sight to behold.This is the only pub i've ever heard the Ghostbusters theme tune playing on the stereo.Best pub in Belper.
