I was looking for an independent coffee shop in Belper that was open on Monday as a few tend to be closed. Anyway I hadn't tried this before and had good reviews so thought I'd give it a try. I'd walked from Holbrook via Chevin golf course and the Mill with my 3 dogs so was glad to find a friendly place that had an outdoor area where I could sit with them. The staff were really nice and was able to tie the dogs up whilst I went inside to order, they also had a water bowl for them to have a drink which is always a bonus! I had a lovely latte and piece of lemon drizzle cake at a reasonable price and the sat chatting to the owner who was really lovely and works very hard. I'm planning to bring my friends back in a couple of weeks on a Monday so will make a return visit. Thanks for making me welcome - 2 spaniels, a cockerpoo and their owner
Simply a lovely rustic place to get a bite to eat, food is good quality and tasty.Don't expect fine dining, This place is meant to be slightly rustic which in turn gives you a nice warm homely feeling.Staff are lovely also
