Friendly owner and very accommodating. Basic but perfectly brilliant campsite. Everything you need. Open all year round.
Excellent dark sky site for astronomy. Good facilities and plenty of space.
Really lovely campsite and very reasonably priced - simple but has everything... Basic (but clean) toilet block, solar showers, an honesty shop and an ice cream van that visited while we were there! Lots of little touches that make it so welcoming. It's essentially a huge field with tents around the edge, so there's all the space in the middle for kids to run around and play. We all had a fantastic weekend and can't wait to visit again!
I stayed in the Bell tent (pre erected) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Their is a fire pit and kitchen area which made keeping things separate from the tent so much easier. It was so tranquil and relaxing that I didn't want to go to bed and in the morning looking out at the stunning view made it a incredible experience. It's well worth a stay, the lady who runs the site Sharon is excellent and is happy to help.Go for it!
It's a hidden gem. Understated. Spacious. Eco friendly and beautiful setting. Sharon the host is very thoughtful and had considered all the detail. An honesty shop for essentials. Thermal bag showers and the cleanest toilets of any Campsite I've ever seen!
