Love The Hop, its very dog friendly, they always bring a bowl of water and dog biscuits for my two dogs whenever we go there. The wine and beer is excellent and everyone is really friendly. The decor is amazing too
A few real ales, fantastic decor, plenty of seating. Open fire, classic building, varied clientele.
This pub is very welcoming and has really stylish decor but could be a lot better if firstly there was more good beer choice - only 2 hand pumps - doom bar + guest and the seating configuration was changed to include more comfortable seating as it is predominantly hard wooden chairs and benches that are awkwardly arranged - the 'snug' would benfit from a couple of small 2 seater sofas and taking the piano out. I also think the addition of food would set it apart from other pubs in the area as the black bull's head opposite have got the beer thing spot on so to drinkers, this is never going to be their first choice
