We went when everything was solid frozen, still had fun in the kid's play area with our 7 year old. There's also a play centre indoors nearby. Might be a great idea to visit in the summer, too x

Excellent place for dog walking & summer picnics. Beautiful gardens & fab wildlife
We love going to belper river gardens for a little family day, especially in the summer. U can hire a boat and row down the river and take a picnic and u can have a nice walk round and feed the ducks. There's a nice play area for small children and a car park that is right beside the river gardens. A lovely place to visit.
I've driven passed here so many times and never noticed it, but so glad I stopped. A real find where it's possible to enjoy a lake, flowers and bird-life. Lovely
